The Afoni Children of Hope Foundation (ACOHOF) is a non-profit organization with Headquarters in Tatum, Bui Division of the North West Region of Cameroon. Some of our Projects include our Family Farm Schools, namely the ACOHOF Family Farm School in Tatum, and the ACOHOF Family Farm School in Bankim.
Until we fled from our base in the North West region of Cameroon due to ongoing crises and settled in the town of Bankim in the Adamaoua region, which is peaceful, we were also the promoter organization of the lone Community Radio Station. This Radio was called "ACOHOF Community Radio" FM 98.5.
When we started the ACOHOF Family Farm School in Bankim in the Adamaoua Region of Cameroon, we found hundreds of internally displaced persons from our communities who had settled there with relatives and some in make-shift accommodations?
They have been trooping into our Liaison Office in Bankim seeking various forms of aid, training opportunities, and for some, just the right to information.
Meanwhile, due to the high numbers of internally displaced persons in the area due to the crises, we started the ACOHOF Rural Investment Fund (ARIF) to help them with little loans to start small scale businesses. We had to react.
It is for this reason that we are seeking Volunteers and Organizations that can partner with us to make a difference.
We want Volunteers who can help us provide a solar system at the ACOHOF Family Farm School in Bankim or to work or train the IDPs in any way that will benefit them at our school or within the community. To give them a right to information, we also want to start a Community Radio Station in Bankim.
Our Volunteers can work with us from home, remotely or in Bankim where we shall provide basic but suitable accommodation.

A great way you can help ACOHOF is through your time, talents, and creativity. Whatever your interests or background, whether you can commit regularly or occasionally, there is likely to be something suitable for you.
While volunteering with us, you will learn more about this amazing beautiful countryside and its rich culture and traditional way of life and use your weekends to the full by going on safari, visiting and picnicking -there are lots to keep you busy!
After volunteering with ACOHOF, you will gain an exciting, never-to-be-forgotten adventure in Bui Division, and you'll learn about the Nso culture that makes the Bui division so fascinating!.
Apart from volunteering with us in Bui Division, you can join us in Bankim, where we run a second ACOHOF Family Farm School, a boarding school with about 50 students. You will also enjoy the enormous satisfaction of helping disadvantaged children and knowing that you can make a difference and give hope to the hopeless.
In addition, you will gain new skills, more confidence, a greater understanding of a different culture, and invaluable personal and professional development. Finally, you do not forget an entry on your CV or résumé that will put your head and shoulders above.
